Stylizing 2D Animation with Material and Depth

Animator Hassan Deraoui started with a flat 2D sequence and used a style reference to apply crochet texture.

Material Stylization for Evolving 3D Forms

Motion designer Giacomo Bompan animated procedural loops in Cinema4D, then used Glyf to apply shifting materials—wood, leather, ice, metal—while maintaining consistency through rapid shape changes using three reference keyframes.

Rapidly Colorizing Line-Art Animation thumbnail

Rapidly Colorizing Line-Art Animation

Animator William P uploaded a black-and-white line-art animation and a single color reference frame. Glyf handled the rest by automatically colorizing the entire sequence in seconds.

Keyframe-driven 3D sequence rendering thumbnail

Keyframe-driven 3D sequence rendering

Motion designer Vadim rendered a few hero frames of his 3D product animation—perfecting lighting and material—then used Glyf to interpolate the rest. Motion-aware stylization preserved consistency while eliminating the need to render every frame.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Glyf different from other AI video tools?

Glyf is built for motion designers, not just AI hobbyists — with full creative control, professional-quality output, and seamless integration with animation tooling

Does Glyf train AI on my input videos and images?

No! We do not train on any input video or image data. All of that data is private to you and your organization.

What video formats and specifications should I use?

We recommend MP4 format for uploads. We support any aspect ratio to fit your project needs. File size limit is 20MB - larger files will take longer to render. Videos are internally processed at either 720p or 1080p based on your selected output resolution.

What is the optimal size for keyframes?

Custom keyframes are internally downscaled to 1024px for optimal processing, so keeping them around that resolution avoids unnecessary processing time. You can upload multiple keyframes (up to 3)

How long do renders take?

Render times vary based on video length, resolution, and file size. Larger files and higher resolutions will take longer to process. Typical videos take anywhere from 1-5 mins to complete

Is there an After Effects script / plugin?

Yes! We are currently building our After Effects plugin. Contact us if you are interested in early access!

Can I use the output video for commerical purposes?

Yes! Under any paid plan the user owns all the output content and can use any of it comercially.

Do you offer an API service for your tools?

Yes! We provide enterprise customers with API access, so that they can build custom workflows around Glyf's tools.
